Four Aunties and a Wedding by Jesse Q. Sutanto

I read the first book in this series, Dial A for Aunties, back in the fall.  I was dying laughing during it and told my husband that he absolutely had to read it too.  His reaction was the same, so I have been not-so-patiently waiting for the sequel.  As soon as I started it, I called him and he skipped the library line and just bought it on Audible for himself.  I kept getting texts of his favorite quotes with laughing faces.

Instead of wedding planning, this time it is Meddy getting married, and since it is her wedding, the aunties have found her a similar family of wedding planners to take over.  But right before the wedding, Meddy overhears one of the members threatening to "take out a target" and realizes that the family of wedding planners is actually a family of Mafia members, and her wedding is the location of the hit.  The aunties aren't about to let anything happen to the dream wedding and will do whatever it takes to stop the "family".

Just like the first book, Four Aunties and a Wedding had me laughing the whole time.  The aunties are so over the top that you can't help but crack up and I definitely can't wait for the third installment in the series.  It's also great to have found a book/series that my husband and I both enjoy.  We usually have fairly opposite tastes in books, so something that made us both laugh and quote silly things to each other is a great find.
